Hi! I'm Deanna -

- a Mechanical Engineer x Product Designer passionate about making products for people and the planet. I love the process of project to product - and all the learnings and improvements along the way.

People First, Always

Products need a market - they need people to succeed. And in today's age, we need better products that better support the people they are for. People before product, always.

Product for Planet

All products impact the planet - so the planet should always have a seat at the product design table. There are plenty of ways to achieve a more sustainable product - we just need to determine which best fits a given application.

Mechanical Design & Test

A hands-on engineer, I believe in modelling, building, and testing all products to land on a successful design. CAD --> Prototype --> Evaluate, in that order (...usually).

Strategic Implementation

Good design is simple, and simple is, well, complicated. Putting in the work to get the design right in the early stages saves manufacturing costs as products move to scale.
